I was frustrated when this knife showed up. It came in a flimsy thin box with barely any padding, and the outside package was crushed. Even the knife box inside had dents. I feel like asking for a sharp item to be shipped safely is a basic thing, especially for the price, but that clearly didn’t happen here. The blade seems okay thankfully, but the whole experience was disappointing.

I got a knife from Kasumi-knives a while back, maybe a few months ago, I can’t remember if it was before or after summer — and it’s been in regular use since then. Probably almost daily at this point. The blade still feels sturdy and hasn’t chipped or started acting weird like some cheaper knives I’ve owned. The handle is still tight too, which I’m happy about because I’m not exactly gentle with it. For however long I’ve had it now, it’s definitely held up better than I expected.

"Glad I went with this one"
I’ll admit I spent probably too much time comparing knives before buying this, but I feel justified now that it’s in my hands. The craftsmanship is really nice, the handle feels solid, the blade came sharp right out of the box, and it has a good balance to it. It’s not overly flashy or anything, which is fine with me. It just feels like a well-made knife that someone actually put care into

The blade itself was sharp, so I’ll give it that, but the handle fit was off and the edges felt rough in a way that was hard to ignore. For the price, I really expected cleaner finishing. I felt like I was being forced to be patient with little issues that shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Overall, it just didn’t feel like a properly finished knife to me.

"Good warranty support, a little slow"
well... I had a small issue with the handle on my Kasumi knife, so I reached out to kasumi-knives.com about the warranty. They asked me to send over some photos and proof of purchase, which seemed totally reasonable.
The only downside was that replies took a few days each time, so it wasn’t the quickest process. But in the end, they handled it properly and sent me a replacement without making it a big hassle. Overall I’m happy, just would’ve appreciated faster updates

I received my Kasumi knife it does look genuine to me. The packaging was fine too, so it’s not even about that. I just wish there had been some clearer proof or paperwork confirming the authenticity. Overall it doesn’t feel like a bad purchase, but I was left with a little bit of uncertainty.

"Decent knife, but not the performance I expected"
I ordered a knife from kasumi-knives.com hoping it would feel super sharp and reliable right out of the box, especially for the price. It was okay at first with basic vegetables, but I noticed quickly that it didn’t glide through tomatoes or tougher ingredients as easily as I expected. I also had to sharpen it sooner than I was comfortable with, which made me a little hesitant about depending on it for regular use. Maybe mine was just a one-off, but I’d probably be more cautious before spending this much again.

The site worked alright, and I was able to find the knives I’d been looking at, but it wasn’t the smoothest experience. A few pages felt kind of slow, and the menus weren’t super easy to use on my phone.
Checkout went through fine in the end, but it took more clicks than I expected. The photos were nice, though. I think it’d be a lot better if the filters and product details were easier to navigate.

There were enough styles and sizes to compare without it turning into some endless scrolling situation, which I appreciated more than I thought I would. "Expected Better Sharpness for the Price"
I was let down by this knife right out of the box. For what it costs, I expected it to be much sharper, but it struggled with basic stuff like tomatoes and onions on the first use. I’ve had cheaper knives from other brands come sharper than this, so that was frustrating. I ended up sharpening it myself almost immediately, which isn’t really what you want after paying a premium. Overall, not the best first impression

"Had to Follow Up for My Refund"
The knife itself was decent, but the return process wasn’t great. I sent it back and expected a faster response, but I didn’t hear anything for several days. The refund did come through eventually, though only after I emailed them twice. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just felt slower and less smooth than it should’ve been.

I picked up a knife from kasumi-knives.com, and the blade itself is totally fine. It cuts well and I don’t really have any complaints there.
The handle’s where it falls a bit short for me. After I’ve been chopping for a while, especially doing a bunch of veg, it starts to feel kind of narrow in my hand. It’s not painful or anything, just not as comfortable as I hoped it’d be.
I’m sure it might suit someone else’s hand better, but for me it’s more of a 3-star experience. It’s usable, but next time I’d definitely pay closer attention to the handle shape before buying.

"Really nice knives, but I’m not totally sold on the price"
I’ve been using these knives for a bit they feel great, sharp, solid, and definitely good quality. At the same time, I keep thinking they’re a little too expensive for what they are. I’m happy I bought them, but I also kind of feel like I could’ve found something similar for less.

"Checkout was kind of a disaster"
I was just trying to buy a knife, nothing complicated, but the checkout kept freezing on me. Then my card got declined twice for no obvious reason, which was annoying because it works fine everywhere else. I kept refreshing, wondering if it was my browser or their site, who knows. Support did eventually reply, but by then it felt way too late and I was already frustrated with the whole thing.

I had just been browsing a couple of cleaner, more modern sites before this one, so this site really stood out in a not-so-great way. It looks kind of plain but also a little cluttered at the same time. The product photos are fine, but the overall layout feels dated and wasn’t super easy on my eyes.
